SHIPPING

We’re a small team, and while we do our best to move fast, we’re often wearing a lot of hats.

We typically ship orders on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If an item is in stock and ready to go, it will ship on the next scheduled shipping day. Some products require machining or final assembly, which can add a little time before they are ready to leave the shop.

Please allow up to 7 business days after purchase before reaching out for an order update. Many orders ship sooner, but this window gives us the flexibility to build and pack everything correctly.

Our goal is to ship quickly and do it right. We truly appreciate your support and your patience.

APEX PANEL

The difference between Apex Panel models is mount spacing, not the panel itself.

All Apex Panels are the same. What changes between models is how far the panel sits away from your fork tubes. This spacing is designed to clear trail computers, GPS units, and other electronics.

Model spacing reference:

  • SX mounts the panel about 0.75 inches from the fork tubes
  • XC mounts the panel about 2 inches from the fork tubes
  • XL mounts the panel about 2.75 inches from the fork tubes

To choose the right model, measure the distance from the outside of your fork tube to the outside edge of your trail computer or electronic device.

If you need more clearance than the XL provides, email us at support@ridegravitas.com and we can help with a custom fork tube mount setup.

Our standard Apex Panel mounts are made from ASA plastic, chosen for its balance of strength, durability, and low weight.

ASA handles impact, heat, and vibration well, making it a solid choice for aggressive off road riding without adding unnecessary mass to the front of the bike.

For riders who push things to the extreme, we also offer stainless steel mounts. If you are interested in stainless mounts, reach out to us at support@ridegravitas.com and we will help you get set up.

We do not advertise a specific weight limit.

The Apex Panel is designed to carry lights, tools, and trail essentials that make sense for a single day of riding.

We recommend adding weight incrementally and checking straps and mounts as you build your setup. Ride the bike and pay attention to how it feels.

If you notice any negative effects on handling or panel performance, reduce the load and adjust your setup. If you have questions, reach out and we will help you dial it in.

Yes, but it is not a standard option.

We can produce Apex Panels without powder coating upon request. Lead times vary and depend on current production queues.

If this is something you are interested in, email us at support@ridegravitas.com and we will let you know what is possible and what the timeline looks like.

Yes.

The Apex Panel uses rubber strap mounting, which allows for a wide range of fork tube diameters. This flexibility gives the system built in adjustability across different bikes and setups.

To date, we have not found a standard fork tube diameter that does not work with the Apex Panel mounting system.

In most cases, yes.

The Apex Panel is offered in multiple mount spacing options and features slotted mounting holes, allowing it to accommodate a wide range of fork widths and front end configurations.

Every bike setup is a little different, but the Apex Panel has been successfully run on a large variety of motorcycles.

If you have a specific bike or setup in mind and want to be sure before ordering, reach out to us. We are happy to help you confirm fitment.

CHAINSAW MOUNTS

The Chainsaw Mount secures to the forks using metal band clamps.

These clamps wrap tightly around the fork tubes and lock the mount in place, creating a solid and dependable connection that holds up to vibration and rough terrain.

Yes.

The Chainsaw Mount is compatible with a scabbard using the included scabbard bolt, which is provided in the packaging. This allows you to securely mount your chainsaw while keeping the bar protected and stable.

Assembly is straightforward.

Please watch the assembly video below for step by step instructions and setup tips to ensure everything is installed correctly.

We have tested the Chainsaw Mount with chainsaws using up to an 18 inch bar.

Longer bars may fit depending on the saw and setup, but anything beyond 18 inches has not been officially tested.

Yes.

You can run either a BA-4 or an S2 light alongside the Chainsaw Mount, allowing you to maintain forward lighting while carrying your saw.

LIGHTS

This depends on several variables, and there is no single answer that applies to every bike.

We are actively testing and measuring different bikes as we get our hands on them to better understand the limits of each electrical system.

As a general rule, your bike needs to produce more stator output than your lighting setup consumes. When a system is pushed beyond its capacity, you may see battery drain, increased rectifier temperatures, or in extreme cases, stator or wiring failure.

For many bikes, our fitment guides will point you in the right direction and help you choose a safe lighting setup.

General guidance:

  • If your bike has an onboard battery, it can typically support a single S2 light, and often dual S2 lights, depending on the bike.

  • If your bike does not have a battery, you still have options. Our drill battery adapter kit allows you to run a BA-4 or MX37 light setup directly from a drill battery.

If you have a specific bike or want help dialing in the right setup, reach out to us at support@ridegravitas.com. We’re happy to help you make an informed choice.

No. We use an independent wiring harness, and that choice is intentional.

Running a standalone harness gives you several important benefits:

  1. Isolation from your bike’s stock wiring

If something goes wrong with the lighting system, it will not blow fuses or create issues in your factory electrical system.
  2. Relay controlled switching

The harness uses a relay so the switch is protected from high amperage draw, which improves reliability and switch life.
  3. Lights stay on when the bike stalls

If your bike stalls while moving or riding downhill, the lights remain powered instead of cutting out unexpectedly.

This setup keeps your lighting system safer, more reliable, and easier to diagnose if issues ever arise.

Yes.

The switch on the Gravitas wiring harness is user replaceable. If your switch is damaged or worn, it can be swapped without replacing the entire harness.

Installing the wiring harness is straightforward for most riders.

Start by removing the seat, fuel tank, and side plastics. Route the wiring harness along the same path as your stock harness, following the frame of the bike. Secure it in place with zip ties and make sure the wires are not pinched, rubbing, or chafing against sharp edges or moving parts.

Once routed, connect the terminal ends directly to the battery.

While many riders handle this install themselves, we recommend professional installation to ensure the system is routed correctly and safely.themselves, we recommend professional installation to ensure the system is routed correctly and safely.

STACK PACKS

Stack Packs use a MOLLE style mounting system and are installed the same way as other MOLLE bags.

Mount the bag by weaving the MOLLE straps through the slots on your panel and back through the bag. This weaving process is what keeps the bag tight, stable, and resistant to movement on rough terrain.

Take your time during installation and make sure the straps are fully woven and secured before riding.
