WE ARE A GROUP OF RIDING BUDDIES THAT FOUND COMMUNITY AND FOCUS ON TWO WHEELS. NOW WE ARE DETERMINED TO SHARE OUR EXPERIENCE AND BUILD A BRAND THAT CAN GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY.

OUR APPROACH

At Gravitas, we're not just creators; we're a group of riding buddies who share a deep love for the trail. Our brand isn't driven by the pursuit of massive profits; it stems from our genuine passion for riding and a thorough understanding of the products and systems that make our adventures thrive. Seeking purposeful products to elevate our riding experience, we realized what was available didn't quite hit the mark. As trained designers, engineers, and professionals, we decided to craft these products for ourselves and extend the joy to you. Come join us on this journey as we build a brand that feels like your trusted riding companion.

BIRTH OF THE APEX

Early on, we recognized the importance of authenticity in building a brand and community. Instead of portraying something we're not, we committed to being true to ourselves. As both product designers and riders, we aimed to contribute genuinely to the community by offering products we personally used. This commitment led to the creation of the APEX panel.

Our goal was to design a system that was not only light and simple but also ideal for navigating tight single tracks without compromising balance or causing exhaustion. We envisioned a system with the capacity to carry all necessary tools without sacrificing the joy of a light and nimble riding experience. Acknowledging the diverse storage needs of riders, we made the APEX panel modular, allowing riders to pack it according to their preferences and needs.

In the end, we successfully developed a unique, universal panel for the front and rear of dirt bikes—modular, lightweight, and unobtrusive even on the gnarliest mountain single tracks.

CO-OWNER

LUKE

Meet Luke, a Utah rat from Ogden. His motorcycle journey began at the tender age of ten, and his riding skills haven't evolved much since then. Yet, with a genuine passion for the outdoors and the camaraderie that accompanies the hobby, Luke tends to conquer most obstacles more by luck than skill. When you bring him along, it's not for his looks or riding prowess, but mainly for a charity tax break and his design skills.

CO-OWNER

BRYAN

Meet Bryan, a man who overcomes challenges with humility too profound to craft his own bio. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, he's navigated through many hairy situations. Bryan's journey, marked by a robust moral compass and an unyielding drive for continual improvement, has transformed him into more than just a riding buddy—he's a formidable leader for everyone in his orbit.

INSPIRATION

TOOL BOX

Meet the guy we affectionately call "Toolbox." He clocks in at 190 lbs in his birthday suit, but once he's geared up with his riding pack, he easily tips the scales at 250 lbs. Once we found the global stash of missing 8mm sockets when we went through his riding vest. Redundancy is tattooed on his back like a tramp stamp. We tease him relentlessly on every ride, but there comes a day when you're genuinely glad he brought the entire garage of tools along. Our APEX panels were designed as a weight loss supplement for "Tool Box."

TALENT

THE PRETTY ONE

Meet our ruggedly handsome and naturally talented friend—someone we can't help but love to hate. On every ride, we find ourselves cursing his name and envying his youthful agility. We keep waiting for the day when he finally runs out of steam, but it never seems to come. Just when you're feeling good about your trail skills, look up on the ridge ahead, and there's the pretty boy effortlessly pulling a standing wheelie that you can't even dream of.
